Did you hear that?

The puppies can hear now and are just starting to play with each other.  There are a couple of very chill male puppies.  They love to be cuddled and don't squirm or squeak when picked up.

One female and one male have new families excited to take them home!

Chapter 5: When the puppy eats your birth control pills

I asked my mommy to get me some food, so she put down her book to get it.  Imagine my surprise when I looked at the words on the page...  "Chapter 5:  When the puppy eats your birth control pills"  Oh dear.  Which puppy ate the pills?  My mommy saw the concerned look on my face and assured me none of my puppies ate the pills.  She was reading a book by Mary Beth Chapman called, "Choosing to SEE."  Whew!

We're all at Granny's today because there's noisy contractors at our house.  We love the gas fireplace!  We're nice and warm and that makes everybody sleepy.  Eat, sleep, potty.  Eat, sleep, potty.  Ah, the life of a puppy!

We've had a lot of visitors, but only one family has committed to taking a puppy home.

The kids are growing!

My puppies are 2 weeks old now and most have their eyes open.  They are growing so fast.  Must be all that yummy Iams canned puppy food I'm eating.  I wake Julie up at least twice in the night wanting more.

We've had a few visitors and we're starting to receive deposits.  There are still 3 male puppies available.  This may be my last litter of schnoodles as my boyfriend is moving away.  Thinking about checking out a schnauzer stud for next year.  We'll see.

My first post!

My granny had a great idea that I should have a blog.  So, here goes!  On February 3, 2011, I gave birth to six healthy schnoodles.  I'm a great mom!  I hate to leave them, even to go outside to pee.  This is my third litter.  My mom breeds me once a year.  I get to be a fun-loving, sweet schnauzer the rest of the year.  My mom knows it's not healthy for me to be bred more than once a year.  Besides that, she likes her sleep and I tend to wake her up several times a night.  Sometimes I want that yummy canned puppy food that I only get when I'm nursing.  Or I might need to have the blankets in my playpen changed.  I'm all about comfort!  Mommy doesn't mind doing it for me.  She knows I appreciate it.

My pups will be ready for new homes the last weekend of March.  If you're interested in adopting one of my pups, contact my mom, Julie.  Her email address is JLBerst@gmail.com.  She checks her email a lot.

Thanks for reading my first blog.  More to come!
